The Heraklion Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport named by the Cretan writer, is the island’s busiest airport and a great place to start planning your visit.

It is a hustle free airport but has many to offer, from information serves to stores.

The airport located about 3 miles east of the main city of Heraklion and it is easy to reach by car.
